The problem? Home Depot was building locations all over the country and the more complex installations were very problematic and required massive amounts of specifications and installation documentation. The solution? An interactive CD-ROM unique for each store typography that houses hundreds of PDF documents that could be quickly retrieved and printed by navigating through actual architectural working plans. The CD-ROM dramatically reduced the confusion for field installers, architects and builders and was considered very innovative at the time. Each door had the potential for different installation materials, manuals and diagrams due to meeting various state fire and building codes. We also provided a web-version of the experience and photography and video services to the client.
