The main goal of this project was layering activities for the family by creating a mixed used building with transformable zones. The structure is an asymmetrical web like diagrid dome with a building envelope housing a collage of solar panels and glass panels on the exterior for sustainability. The solar panels are not just placed on the roof to collect energy, rather they are presented in a very innovative way integral to the design of the building. Angled to collect energy during the morning light and to create shade for the interior during the afternoon when occupancy is at it’s height.

The structure includes a full-sized indoor soccer field, sports bar, restaurant, class and meeting room, internet cafe, locker rooms and a interactive water fountain. The layer of activities should increase community engagement in sports while driving revenue for the client.
